By Car
From the
north and northwest
From the
Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) exit at Fullerton Avenue
and turn left (east.) The Lincoln Park campus is approximately two mile
from
the expressway on Fullerton Avenue at Kenmore Avenue. The conference
will be in
the Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Avenue.
From the
west
From the
Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), turn onto the Kennedy
Expressway (I-90/I-94) heading toward Wisconsin. From the Kennedy
Expressway
(I-90/I-94) exit at Fullerton Avenue and turn right (east.) The Lincoln
Park
campus is approximately two miles from the expressway on Fullerton
Avenue at
Kenmore Avenue. The conference will be in the Student Center, 2250 N.
Sheffield
Avenue.
From the
south
From the
Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/I-94) continue as the
expressway becomes the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94). Exit at
Fullerton Avenue
and turn right (east.) The Lincoln Park campus is approximately two
miles from
the expressway on Fullerton Avenue at Kenmore Avenue. The conference
will be in
the Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Avenue.
From
Lake Shore Drive (north or south)
Exit Lake
Shore Drive at Fullerton Avenue. Head west for
approximately three miles. The Lincoln Park campus is located on
Fullerton
Avenue at Kenmore Avenue. The conference will be in the Student Center,
2250 N.
Sheffield Avenue.

Transportation
Rapid
Transit Lines
Three rapid
transit train lines service the Lincoln Park area and
DePaul's Lincoln Park campus. Exit at the Fullerton station. After
coming down
the steps, turn left (west) and walk two blocks to Kenmore Avenue. The
conference will be in the Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Avenue.

You may
transfer to these lines from all other train lines in most
downtown stations.
Buses
Bus routes
interconnect throughout the city. Several buses stop

INFORMATION:
The
conference will run from 9:00-5:45 Friday, with a reception following
hosted by
the DePaul philosophy department and 9:00-5:00 Saturday, with a banquet
following. There will be coffee
and light pastries available each morning.

BANQUET:
We
have reservations at 6:00 on Saturday, Sept. 27th at Sun Wah Chinese
B.B.Q., 1134
W. Argyle St., one of the best Chinese restaurants on the North Side.
The cost of
the banquet is $20.00; we will need to know the exact numbers ahead of
time as well as if there are any vegetarians. Alcoholic beverages are
not included in the banquet price. Sign up for the banquet on the
registration form.

public transportation
From
DePaul: Take the Red Line north (toward Howard) from the Fullerton stop
to the Argyle Stop. Exit and walk one half a block west (right).
From
Belden-Stratford: Walk east to
Stockton in the park and catch bus #151 (Sheridan) northbound. Take it
to the
Argyle stop. Walk about three blocks west on Argyle to Sun Wah.
Or
Walk one
and a half blocks west on Belden to Clark. Catch bus #36 (Broadway)
northbound. Take it to the Argyle stop. Walk one half a block east on
Argyle to Sun Wah.
By
car:
Go
northbound in Lake Shore Drive. Take the Lawrence exit. Turn north
(right) onto Sheridan Rd. (the second light) and then west (left) onto
Argyle St. (at the first light). Sun Wah is just west of the El tracks,
but you may want to park w
ver you find a spot. Meters are $.25/hour until 9:00pm.
