NASPH 2006 ANNUAL CONFERENCE GORDON COLLEGE, JUNE 2-3
Greetings all,
IÕm writing to fill you in on conference details.
We will be meeting in the Tavilla Conference room at Gordon College
in Wenham, Massachusetts—on BostonÕs scenic North Shore. This is the newest facility at Gordon
and also contains student apartments which are available to conference
participants. Apartments contain
four bedrooms (two single, two double), kitchen, living room and a
bathroom. These
apartments obviously work well for families and there are gorgeous beaches
nearby. Three nights (June 1, 2
and 3) to include breakfast and lunch for the days of Friday June 2 &
Saturday June 3 will cost $88 per person for a double occupancy and $108 per
person for a single occupancy.
Again, these rates include lodging for three nights and breakfast and
lunch for two days—an unbeatable rate for the area! The group dinner in a local restaurant
on Friday evening will be an additional charge. Due to other events on campus
we are limited to the nights of June 1, 2 and 3.
PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 15. Please make your payments in the form of US$ check or money
order to Jamey Findling: 932 Faulkner, Wichita, KS 67203. Absolutely no accommodations at Gordon
will be available without payment by this date. Please also include arrival
time.
For those who would like to stay off campus, there is a link below
with local hotels.
I am attaching information on a shuttle bus from Logan
International Airport, as well as taxi information. Please note that Gordon is NOT within walking distance of
the train so you will need to take a taxi if you choose that means of
transportation. Wenham is approximately 25 miles from downtown Boston. If you are planning on renting a car,
you may want to check out fares to Manchester Airport in New Hampshire which is
approximately 25 miles away.
I am including in the
body of this email a schedule that shows we will begin at 9:45am Friday June 2
and end by 5:45pm on Saturday June 3.
The schedule also contains NASPHÕs website address (
http://nasph.tamu.edu/ ) on which all of this information will be posted.
Information on posting papers on our website will be forth coming.
I know I speak for all of us on NASPHÕs board when I say how
excited I am about this, our inaugural, conference!
I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Regards,
Lauren
